Alopecia is a common autoimmune disease that causes sudden, unexpected hair loss across all body areas.

In types of alopecia such as Alopecia Areata, Alopecia Totalis, and alopecia Universalis it is common for scalp hair loss to occur. There is no cure for alopecia, but SMP is an excellent solution.

If the hair loss is patched, caused by alopecia areata, then the pigment can be implanted in and around the patches to camouflage them with the existing hair.

If it is Alopecia Totalis or Universalis, you will experience more extreme hair loss across the scalp and we can perform the SMP procedure across the entire scalp and restore the hairline as well as make it look like you have an entire head of shaved hair, like a buzz-cut.
